Over the last few years, Zuleika has witnessed the growth of the Lancaster community and always felt a deep desire to somehow be apart of that change. ASSETS’ vision and mission align with how she wishes to make that change. In her role as the Women’s Business Center Program Manager, she is eager to help women entrepreneurs thrive in their ventures. Zuleika has a degree in Social Services, which gave her the skills to be socially-perceptive, resilient, and knowledgeable in human psychology.
In 2015, Zuleika helped establish Teatro Paloma, Lancaster’s first Latinx theater company. Her past and current roles include being a stage manager, actor, dancer, writer, and designer. In her spare time, Zuleika uses a paintbrush as a form of expression and relief. As an artist by trade, she is most excited to apply her creative mind in developing programs that will enhance the learning experience for entrepreneurs. The idea of creating something that may influence another person for the better has always been a goal of hers. Being an artist has allowed her to be confident in her creativity to bring forth innovative ideas in the ASSETS’ team.
