We’re offering you a packed ASSETS’ Course Book complete with Fall and Spring open enrollment periods. Simply find the courses that pique your interest. Then apply for the one that fits your needs most at this very moment. We’ll offer a new slate of courses next semester so don’t worry if several caught your eye—we’ll offer them again soon. Got it? The Women’s Business Center at ASSETS houses all of ASSETS’ Entrepreneur Training programs. It exists to support small business owners who are starting or expanding their businesses. While extra consideration is given to the specific challenges and issues for women entrepreneurs, the programs serve all—women, men, and racial and ethnic minorities.

Idea Incubator
February 23rd – April 27th
This is ASSETS’ most popular and longest-running program! Work through the early stages of the business planning process while interacting and networking with other local aspiring entrepreneurs. Leave the course with a solid business plan, an outline for community impact, and an understanding of what your next steps should be. This course is a prerequisite for participating in ASSETS’ annual Great Social Enterprise Pitch competition!

The Idea Incubator cohort is expected to have a business idea and attend weekly workshops on how to develop their business plan. Attendance and participation are a must! -
Marketing Boot Camp
February 24th – March 24th
This 5-week Marketing Boot Camp will teach you how to build a strong brand and the basics of effective marketing. Whether you’re a start-up with no brand or have a business looking to rebrand, this program is for entrepreneurs who are looking to create a clear business identity.

As a participating entrepreneur in the training, you are expected to come eager to build your start up and grow your plan on a weekly basis. In order to capitalize on the course, attendance and participation are a must!
An entrepreneur’s time is golden. So, when it comes time to invest in one’s entrepreneurial education, our Course Book will easily help match what offerings we provide to the specific skill set you are hoping to build upon! Business Development Accelerator
February 23rd – April 20th
During this 3-month training, we will take you through a process to gather insights, assess key metrics, and discover key levers of growth–all leading to a strategic focus and idea generation for the next stage of your business growth.

Marketing Storytelling Accelerator
February 22nd – March 29th
Develop your brand story with confidence and clarity—to engage your target audience and inspire the community. Following the 6 weekly sessions, each entrepreneur will have the choice to work with a professional videographer to film a short video to promote their brand.
